Hello, it´s hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about what I do in my everyday life. Well, I wake up every day and brush my teeth. I get ready and pack all my stuff together, I also make sure everything is in the right place. Then I go to drop off Sean my brother at school and my mom and I drive to school.

I go to school and I get homework every day. After school, I usually have a game or a practice after school for either baseball, basketball, or softball. Then I don´t end my practice until like 9:00 ish at night. Then I take a bath and either go to bed or stay up to watch TV.

That is my everyday life because that is literally what I do in my everyday life. I do everything the same almost every day, same practice, same school, same routine everything. This is everything I do everyday and I hoped that you learned more about me on my blog about my everyday lifestyle.

Hello, it’s hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about how I got into Little League. If you’re wondering what little league is, it is a TV show that shows teams play against each other and it is really popular for baseball and softball fans. I got into little league somehow, the coaches thought that I was good so I guess I got in. We did some tests to show our strengths and our weaknesses.

So the first test we did was the throwing test to see how far we can throw. I reached everything, even the farthest throwaway. The next test we did was the hitting test to see how far we could hit the ball. I hit not bad and bunted not bad either. The last test we had was the running test to see how long we could last running. I ran pretty fast, I was one of the first people down after running a mile.

The coaches got clipboards and started to write down if we made it or not. They showed us and I got a 4/4 on everything! I was so happy I felt like doing my happy dance. I knew I would make it in as well because my coach told me the net practice we had. I was on Pink team, there is a Black team but I still made it on a team so I was really happy with myself for making Little League.

Hello everyone,

Today I will be writing about what I did on my winter break.

So when winter break started my family decided to go to Las Vegas with my friends. So we were packing until we left which was on Christmas. I got to put up my fake tree and decorate it. It was lots of fun hanging with my family as well. Then on December 25, 2018, we left for our last 2018 trip together.

When we landed my family went to stay at a hotel, the next day we got up and hit the road. It was a 5-hour ride to Las Vegas since we were in San Diego, but my brother and I just went on our phones and played cards until we got there. When we got there we met up with all of our friends since they all decided to just land in Las Vegas, it was early in the morning and we decided to go shopping since the next day we were going ice skating.

We spent over 8-hours just shopping for clothes and getting ice cream to make us kids happy. Then we got to go to my friends’ super big hotel and got to sleepover there because of how big it was. The dads usually spent their nights hanging out and gambling down at the hotel. My friends and I stayed up til 2:30 in the morning and woke up at 10:45, so when we woke up we decided to leave for our separate ways. My friends family and our family going to Lakers and the other families stayed for the concert. It was a fun lasting trip and I was proud that I got to see LeBron James, so the next day we headed off home.

Hey, guys, it’s hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about my sleepover with my friends.

When I went to my sleepover at Leilani’s and Jenny’s house. ALL of my friends scared me and it was a really funny prank by them. They also did another prank on me which made me confused. They put TOOTHPASTE into an oreo and gave me ¨Grape Juice.¨ (But really it was lime and salt into it and somehow I thought it was good)

Then Leilani and Jenny made us do a scavenger hunt which we had to look for our own gifts from them.

Of course, I was last and also they gave me most of the stuff I wanted for Christmas but didn’t get. (Because I mostly got clothes but I am very thankful for the clothes)Then we went to the mall to buy our person a secret Santa gift and it was really fun because we got to go with a partner to the mall and I got Shayann as my partner.

For my secret Santa I got Jenny and what she wanted was a soft squishy pillow, some mechanical pencil, and a Starbucks gift card. The thing is I only got her the squishy pillow, and after we went to the mall, we went back to the house to give our presents to your secret Santa. (Chloe got one too)

So when we were done giving out our presents to each other, we went to go and put makeup on each other and I got Mari to do me and I do Mari´s makeup.

Then after that, we went to go and make gingerbread houses and it was me, Mari, and Jenny vs Shayann, Jojo, and Leilani.  Fern chose who was going to win and it was my team, so after that, we went to go and wash their dogs Beast, Beauty, and Bubbles.

After we washed their dogs we took a bath, ate dinner, had dessert, and went to go and play in their rooms. We stayed up till like 12:00 in the morning before everyone went to bed and I thought that this was the best sleepover ever!

The next morning I woke up with a rope tied up on me because the girls were going to prank me by putting makeup on my face when I wake up. Good thing it failed because I woke up before anyone could do anything to me.

Then I left for another sleepover at like 10:00 while the rest of the girls stayed a little later than me.

Part 1:

Today I will be writing an audit and answering some questions about SBC!

1. How many weeks of the challenge did you participate in?

I participated in 8 (Including this one) of the week challenges.

2. How many posts did you write in the ten week period?

I wrote about 8 (Including this one again) again in the ten week period.

3. How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers, or other visitors?

I got about 12 comments from my classmates, 2 comments from my teachers, and 8 comments from visitors.

4. Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?

I enjoyed the post-Trimester One portfolio because I got to write about my favorite thing to do in my core classes. I got to show pictures to everyone what I do in class as well.

5. Which web tools did you use to show creativity on your blog?

I used a web tool called Appearance if you click on it, it should give many ideas to make your blog look way over the top!

6. What are your plans for your blog now? Will you keep posting?

I don´t have any plans for my blog right now but I will keep in touch with this blog for sure! I will not be posting until later so if you still want me to post anything for you guys be sure to comment down below. I will get your comments so don´t worry! I will come back to post more though so do not worry!

1. What was your first impression?

It was very informational. You are learning a lot.

2. What captured your attention?

The topics captured my dads’ attention and its interesting to see what I am learning in school.

3. What distracted you on the blog?

My language arts wasn´t in a link and he wanted to see it up close.

4. What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?

Maybe more descriptions on what I learned about each topic and what you are going to work on and what you like about your posts.

Hello, it is hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about Hour of Coding and if I would recommend this to you!

When I first went on to Hour of Coding there were so many games to choose from. The first activity I chose was called Khan Academy! It is a learning game where you can take tests and where you could learn how to take some SSAT(Secondary School Admissions Test) testings! Here is a link to the game: Khan Academy.  I would definitely recommend this to ages 6th grade and up if you like learning.

The next activity I tried was called Make your own Google Logo! This activity was super fun! I got to create my own logo out of google. This was amazing to do and here is a link to make your own Google Logo: Google Logo. I would recommend this grades 2 and up if you want to make your own Google Logo!

The last activity I visited was called Plastic Pollution PSA! In this game, you can make a second video about any subject you care about! You can learn to use loops, sin wave, and customized emojis to make a unique project. This activity was very fun and I would only recommend this to ages 6th and up because it was fun but hard. Hello everyone,

I will be writing about the new links I visited on and how much I recommend this link!

The first link I visited was called Wintertime Magnetic poetry by Eric Curts.  I thought that this link was super cool. I got to make my own poetry about cool wintertime games. I thought that the loading was a little slow but it was really fun and I would definetly recommend this to everyone!

The second I visited is called Halloween Magnetic poetry by Kasey Bell.  This link was okay. The link uses google drawings which I didn´t really understand but I think you guys would understand. The instructions were very easy to understand and I would recommend people who like using google. It was very fun and I really enjoyed using this link!

The last link I visited was called Easter Magnetic poetry by Jamie Forshey.  This link was very fun to do. I enjoyed it the most out of the three I talked about. It is an activity that teachers can do with their students. I liked this so much because there was no problems at all and their was some cool projects you should use. Overall this one was my favorite and I would obviously recommend this to everyone!

Hello everyone its hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about why I like sports so much. I like sports because they are very fun to play. I also like my sports because I can learn not to give up. I also like sports because my coaches believe in me and push me to be my best.  Sports can be a fun learning game for everyone.

I like sports because they teach life lessons that you can learn. The game can also get very interesting when it is close. I like them because when I play I have a spark that no one is going to beat me or score on me. It makes me so pumped up to play and I give it everything I got. Sports can be anything you want it to be as long as you just try even if you can´t just try and maybe something good might happen.

My last paragraph will be about why I enjoy sports so much. Sports is not all fun though. It can be challenging and you may get yelled at. But from my coaches I learned that you can bounce back from your mistakes. You can either quit or go back and get the ball. Your choice as my coaches would say. Thats how I learned to be tough like my mom so take my advice and try because you never know what might happen.

Hello its hmskailey,

Today I will be writing about an scientific field called Oceanography. Oceanography is when scientist go and explore different parts of the ocean. I am very curious about why the ocean is blue. I researched it up and I got that the ocean is blue because parts of the suns red ray lights, lights the ocean making it look blue in the shallow and purple in the deep side. The ocean also may take off some colors also such a green, red and other colors bounce off floating sediments.

I don´t know much about the ocean. But now that I know why the ocean is blue, I´m curious about how the floating sediments bounce off making it blue. The answer is that the water absorbs everything making the floating sediments bounce off of light which changes the color.

This last paragraph will be about conservation of resources. I was curious about this because we don´t  know how much longer the ocean will be going on.  Marine life is very important and we don´t the ocean to dissaper. You can help by cleaning up the beaches and all sorts of other things.
